We would argue that most people would agree to the existence of a set of universal/cosmic forces or even laws that govern all of creation. Some of these laws are easy to experience, such as we will fall if we walk of a cliff, or that a stone thrown up in the air will return etc. Others principals such as karma, we may or may not believe in. What we would argue that most people would agree to, is that our existence and the world is in disharmony. This is a fact it is hard to escape from. The reason for this disharmony in our world is due to our unnatural disobedience or incapacity to comply with the universal set of principles that governs creation. This incompliance engenders a separation which again engenders unhappiness and dissatisfaction. There is a need to follow the path of logic, or rather, the path of the Logos, the path of the ray of creation. Definition of “Logic” from Dictionary.com:

the science that investigates the principles governing correct or reliable inference.

Further from Wikipedia about the word “Logic”:

Logic comes from the Greek word logos, originally meaning “the word” or “what is spoken”

The Word reminds us of the Biblical passage from the creation story, but what about the Logos? What are these Logos that gave birth to the concept of “Logic”?

The Creation and the Logoic triangle

If we study the Kabbalistic tree of life, we see the ray of creation emerge out of the absolute abstract space, the Ain Soph Aur and unfolds itself into ten sephiroth. The omnipenetrating ray of creation is the first emanation of the absolute which unfolds itself into ten manifestations, or the ten sephiroth of the kabbalistic tree of life. Firstly, the ray of creation divides itself into three manifestations in order to create. This is the logoic triangle mentioned in many traditions.

Father, Son and Holy Spirit. In Kabbalah or Hebrew they are called Kether, Chokmah and Binah. One force expressed as three. Three forces unified as one. The first manifestation of the ray of creation is Kether. This is the sephirah closest to the absolute, the father principle, the Holy affirming. The principle if you will, of a universal consciousness penetrating every atom of the entire universe. In the German tradition this is called Odin. Odin has many names as he is the “Allfader” which means All father, father of everything in Norwegian. The logoic triangle is far beyond the mind and any subjectivity. A “self” does not exist here. When we address the logoic triangle in this way we are addressing cosmic principles. These principles also exist in our microcosm, but we will get back to this. The logoic triangle is pretty abstract, but try to think about it in terms of principles that governs the cosmos which are at the same time found inside ourselves. The second manifestation of the absolute is related with the force of the cosmic Christ. It is called Chokmah in Hebrew. The second logos is unconditional universal love for all that exists. Its the perfect, objective, omnipresent, omnipenetrating universal love. This is the Holy Denying. Binah, the third logos is the Holy Spirit. This is the cosmic electric creative energies which sprouts the life of the whole universe, this is the life in itself which pulsates through the entire cosmos down to the smallest atom. All life exists due to the third logos, the creative energies and the energies that give life. This is related with sexuality and power. This is the Holy Reconciliation. The neutral force that unites two opposites.

In order to create, the ray of creation divides itself into three manifestations. We have to remember that these three manifestations of the logoic triangle really are only one with three aspects, the ray of creation that emanated from the absolute. Thus, we find the Father in the son, and we find the both the Father and the Son within the Holy Spirit. In Binah, the Father unfolds himself into Father/Mother in order to impregnate or fecundate the Holy Spirit to give birth to the beloved son. This beloved son becomes our internal God, our innermost or spirit represented by the sephira Chesed, the first emanation of the Monad or spiritual triangle on the kabbalistic tree of life. In Binah, the third logos, The Father becomes the active, expansive, masculine principle symbolized by fire. The Mother becomes the passive, contractive, feminine principle and symbolized by water. The Holy Spirit is neutral and unites the two opposing forces in order to create. This reminds us about the creation sequence described in various cultures. In the Germanic Edda for example, the spark of Muspelheim fecundates the ice of Niflheim in the Ginnungagap and engenders the cosmos.

To comprehend more intuitively how the ray of creation descends into physical matter, consider the picture above. The ray of creation passes through the logoic triangle and seven manifestations as the seven colors of the rainbow spectrum occurs. The ray of creation passes through the logoic triangle in order to further unfold itself all the way down into physicality, which contains all the forces of the tree of life. So, as the kabbalistic tree of life is a map of both the macrocosm and the microcosm, we all have these archetypes in the tree of life in ourselves right and here right now, at least in potentiality.

The three brains

According to the Gnostic tradition revealed by V.M. Samael Aun Weor, a human being is a three brained machine. These three brains are namely; The sexual/instinctual brain. the emotional brain and the intellectual brain

As our spirit or pure essence/consciousness descends into duality and the world of the five senses, our ego structure renders these three brains subjective. Because of the desire to experience pleasant sensations or the desire to avoid those sensations as we experience as unpleasant, our willpower becomes a slave of our ego. When we subjectively interpret the the vibrations from the external world in our three brains, the result is wrong interpretations and finally wrong action. This wrong action produces karma which eventually produces more suffering for us. This is another topic we will revisit in a future post. Lets consider the logoic triangle and how it manifests in the physical body. The father principle manifests in its pure form in the intellectual brain as pure consciousness. The Son, or Christic principle manifests in its pure form in the emotional center as pure love and compassion of a universal nature. The Holy Spirit manifests in its pure form as pure life energy. It is chastity, pure sexual energy not contaminated by the desire for sexual sensations. The logos within our interior are distorted. We abuse the mental center endlessly through fears, overthinking, thinking negatively of others, and we practically live in our thoughts completely identifying with them as reality. We abuse our emotional center by indulging in aggression, fear, envy, pride, desiring pleasant sensations of the emotions that are pleasant to us, and protesting against anything which gives us unpleasant sensations. The sexual center fuels the other centers as it is our vitality and foundation. It is our life force itself. That center is commonly exhausted through the never ending hunt for even greater sensations and pleasures culminated by the direct loss of vital energy, through the spasm of the orgasm. In order to cooperate with the spiritual sun that engendered the whole cosmos, we have to become logical people in order to follow the Logos, the highest principles in the universe.

Sex as the foundation for spiritual growth

So the Logoic triangle manifests in the microcosm as consciousness (Father), love (Son) and creative energies or sexual energy (Holy Spirit).

The third logos, the Holy Spirit descends into our sexual organs and gives us the waters of life, the creative energies. This is represented on the Kabbalistic tree of life with the sephira Yesod and is related to the 4th dimension, the world of vital energies. This is the infamous 9th sphere of the Kabbalistic tree of life. The number 9 is the highest of all the numbers and it is related to both birth and death at the same time, as the two follow each other incessantly. Yesod means “foundation” in Hebrew and it is the cubic stone, the chiseled perfected stone and the stone which the builders rejected. It is indeed the stone where one must build his temple. It is the cornerstone of the masons. Notice the position of Yesod in the tree of life, it stretches towards Malkuth, which is the physical kingdom in order to demonstrate the close relationship between the physical and the vital world. It also demonstrates the foundational aspect of the sexual energies in the sense that any attempt to ascend on the tree of life requires our passage through this sphere, sexuality. This reminds us of the Midgardserpent, which is symbolic of the negative use of the Holy Spirit (Lust) which lies coiled in the waters around Midgard (3rd dimension) holding it together. In every human being resides dormant powers and archetypes waiting to be awakened. Since the fall of humanity symbolized by the story of Adam and Eve, humanity has been denied the door to enter into Eden.

“It is urgent to know that the straight, narrow, and difficult door is sex. We departed from Eden through the door of sex, and only through this door may we re-enter into Eden. Eden is sex itself. No one can enter Eden through false doors. We must enter through the doors from which we departed. This is the law” – V.M. Samael Aun Weor

When we abuse the sexual energies, it is hard to have direct experiences with divinity. The divine principles or archetypes within our being awakens with the help of the sexual energy. This is because the blueprint for our spiritual archetypes resides in our semen. We where physically born through the sexual act and we will give birth to our spiritual archetypes through sex. Intellectual theories can never give birth to anything if not applied practically. Everything is born through sex. In the sexual seed in the man and woman exists the blueprint for the spiritual archetypes and the direct link to divinity. Alchemy is a word derived from Arabic where “Al” means God and “Chem” means to fuse with, so the word Alchemy means to fuse with God. So if we consider again the logoic triangle inside ourselves again as consiousness (Father), love (Son) and creative energy (Holy Spirit), lets go into more detail. A man and a woman have a similar brain, there are basically no differences. A man and a woman have a similar heart, there are no differences. However, the genitalia is where a man and a woman are different, in the sexual organs. It seems like creation or the third logos polarized the creative element by making two separate sexes. Two sexes that must be united in order to create. Everybody knows that a child can only be born through the sexual union of the two opposite sexes. A child can never be born out of thinking or feeling. Yet many people walk around today on the planet believing something new can be born out of feelings or intellectual theories or opinions. Sharp intellect and emotions are important and they have their place, but the main point is that everything new has to be build upon the foundation of sex. This is precisely due to the gigantic role the sexual energies has on our psyche and emotions. Not to mention its life giving capabilities. Everything new can only be born through sex.

The Logos mission in creation is to create Gods by self realizing itself in the flesh. It is to create awareness of its own happiness. For that to be accomplished, that which is above has to penetrate that which is below and to return above again. What we are witnessing in humanity in its current state is more like that which is above penetrates that which is below and gets stuck there. In order to cooperate with the Logos, we must imitate its logical or Logoic operation. A man and a woman united in the sexual act represents a complete reunion of the third logos below in Malkuth (physical world), by uniting the two polarities of the sexual force or third logos. In the sexual act, a couple have all the powers to create. They can create new life when united in sexual union, either physically or spiritually. The man represents the sun, the active, expansive fire principle, and carries his genitalia outside of his body. The woman represents the moon, the contractive, passive, water principle and has her genitalia inside her body. When they unite they form the seal of Solomon, the Star of David, also known as “Daath” in Hebrew, which means knowledge.

“The physical union of a man and a woman, in essence, is a supernatural act, a reminiscence of paradise, the most beautiful of all the hymns of praise dedicated to the Creator by the creature; it is the alpha and the omega of all creation.” V.M. Samael Aun Weor

The great Arcanum revealed publically by V.M Samael Aun Weor in almost all of his books, explains how a married couple must unite in the sexual act without loss of the sexual energy. They must practice legitimate white tantra and therein lies the key to all the powers. To all the powers. A man and a woman must be united in love and practise white tantra without reaching the physical orgasm. Eventually and if their psychological conditions are also met, the restrained desire will ricochet as the holy fire or the kundalini. This force will ascend through the spinal column entwined by two ganglionic chords forming the caduceus of mercury, and awakening latent divine faculties and potencies on its triumphant march. These two chords are found in the vital body. As a man or a woman sexually only represent one polarity, they need the other polarity of the opposite sex in order to be complete. The holy fire or kundalini that is the result of sexual alchemy is symbolized by the divine mother. She is the one that can give birth to the force of Christ in us. That would be a virgin birth as this can only happen to someone who retains and works on elevating his sexual energy.

In the Norse mythology it is the god Heimdall which guards the entrance to Asgard. Asgard is the dwelling of the Aser which are the most exalted and supreme gods. Asgard is that superior state of consciousness we all have the capability to perceive or experience. The Edda explains that the road to Asgard is a rainbow bridge which is guarded by Heimdall. The seven colors of the rainbow leading to Asgard is symbolic of the seven chakras or seven energy vortexes in our body or the seven fathers, which must be activated before Heimdall can through our activated third eye take us to Asgard. Heimdall is the guardian, he will not allow uncleanliness or unworthy individuals into Asgard. Heimdall cannot let us pass the rainbow bridge before we work on ourselves and activate the holy fire within our interior. It is further told in the Edda that Heimdall is the son of nine virgins. Heimdall then explains himself in the Heimdallsgalder: “Nine mothers newborn am I, the son of nine sisters I am”. The number nine represents in the Nordic mythology and many other traditions universal creation or cosmic birth. This is purely a sexual matter. This is a work of logic, of the Logos. The cosmic creative powers in man are his sexual energy, his ability to create life. Nine mothers newborn am I. This phrase symbolize that through lifting our sexual energy up our spine and transmuting it will our divine mother symbolized by the virgin Mary in Christianity give birth to our internal Christ, or Heimdall. The son of nine sisters I am. This means that it is a collective aspect giving birth to the internal faculties or the internal Christic energy. The nine sisters phrase including the fact that Heimdall was born of nine virgins refers to the great Arcanum as mentioned above. This way the couple will balance each other and give each other spiritual life. The explanations about Heimdall clearly indicate that the sexual energies in man are key to spiritual awakening. In order to give “birth” to Heimdall and to be allowed to cross the rainbow bridge and into the realm of Asgard, we must transmute our sexual energies and awaken our latent divine forces.

(Above are artwork of the birth of Heimdall and his nine mothers)

Our ancestors and forefathers knew about the secrets of man and the universe and demonstrated it beautifully with their mythology. As above so below, macrocosmos is analogue to the microcosmos. The old Gods of the Nordic mythology represent elements and levels of consciousness inside one self. We need to elevate our consciousness, change our point of observation and see ourselves as we really are. We, as humans have the ability to connect and make contact with extremely high energies of a divine nature. These forces are inside us and waiting to be activated. In addition, we also have infernal or inferior elements inside of us and it is up to each person to decide which elements or which energies he or she choose to indulge in or feed.

The refusal to drink from the fountain of life

The sexual creative forces is the base/fundament for our vital, physical and spiritual life respectively. It is logical that any attempt to purify our emotional or intellectual center without purifying the sexual center first is futile, as it is not built upon the foundation that is the sexual energies. We do not deny that substantial work can be done in meditation with regards to the destruction of the ego etc, but only up to a certain point. We can use the image of an old village with a well. If the well symbolize the sexual energies and if someone put poisons in the well, the whole village would be poisoned. People could try to change or do all kind of remedies, but unless they actually cleaned the well, they would remain poisoned. There exists an abundance of people, groups and sects who are well into spirituality, awakening chakras and kundalini etc, but they prefer to keep their sexuality apart from their spirituality. This is a big mistake because there are no separation of the two. Many people talk beautifully about God, piety and ethics, but in the bedroom, God is forgotten and animal desire takes over. We have seen many people who wants to have their cake and eat it too. In the sense that they want to be spiritual, but when it comes to sexuality they want to indulge in anything they want and to be free of guilt. There exists mantras such as “sex is natural” and we do not disagree. It is very natural, but lustful desire is animalistic, not human. Sexual longings must be carefully mixed with spiritual longings. Man and woman need each other sexually in order to give birth to their divine faculties. Personally, we think that is beautiful. That the path to know God is completely sexual. Sex should be enjoyed, but responsibly. The orgasm or animal spasm must not be reached. Then the energy is ejected from the body and the body is in turn internally infused with infernal atoms, which strengthens desire for a repetition of the sensation just experienced. Sex can really be a fountain of happiness, energy and bliss if the energy is correctly harnessed and sublimated. We are of the opinion that every person on the face of the earth deserves to be happy, deserves to be at peace, deserves to know God directly. However, our capacity to experience those things are directly linked with our ability to follow the natural order of progression in the universe. Our ability to be truly logic people, to imitate and cooperate with the work of the great Logos. We cannot just think to oneself that we are happy or command ourselves to feel happy if we are not. If we do not have the life force sublimated in our interior, a profound lack of something we cannot put our fingers on will be felt and that void is in turn externalized in an endless chase of various sensations in the physical world to fill it. That is the state of humanity today. Thinking and feeling will not create lasting happiness. Only the fountain of life can do that.

So called spiritual people who wants to work on themselves and wants to elevate their thinking and feeling but denies the sexual force as part of that can never be fully purified. This is because they want to build a temple by starting on one of the domes or the roof, ignoring that there needs to be a fundament in place before construction can start. If we look at how the Logos create, we should start by purifying our sexuality before we attempt to purify other aspects. Sexuality should be purified first, not the other way around. There is little point with a Porsche in our garage if we do not have any fuel for it to drive somewhere. That which is above must penetrate that which is below and to return above again. To sanctify our bedrooms and to create an altar out of the matrimonial bed is one of the most exalted homages and tributes we can give to divinity. Because then we are sacrificing our animal desires so that we can cooperate with the Logos to create divinity within ourselves. To cooperate with the Logos in this way is to cooperate with creation. When we sacrifice our animal ego in order to better ourselves we sacrifice for humanity. This is very holy. To become chaste and to revert the sexual rivers inside ourselves is a tough and long road which requires a lot of practice not to mention willpower, but it is at the same time one of the most rewarding paths one can ever travel. By chastity, it is not meant the abstention from sex, but to join with our sacred spouse in the sexual act with love, admiration and with the purpose of attaining mutual spiritual elevation and to withdraw before the spasm occurs. The man needs the forces of the woman in order to fabricate the archetypes of the being, The woman needs the forces of the man for the same purpose. In the sexual act, they should each view each other as an opposite polarity of a divine force. Thus together, they form a complete union of the divine with God given capacities for creation. The initiatic steps and more detailed instructions on the practice of sexual alchemy is something we will write more about in the future.

“With the Arcanum A.Z.F. we can retain all of that marvelous light, all those cosmic
currents, all those Divine powers. Then Kundalini awakens, the sacred Fire of the Holy
Spirit within us, and we are transformed into Terribly Divine Gods. But when we spill the
semen, the cosmic currents are lost within the universal currents and the Luciferic forces
of evil, the fatal magnetism, a sanguineous light, penetrates the Souls of the two beings.
Then Cupid withdraws, weeping, the doors of Eden close, love becomes disillusionment,
disenchantment arrives, and only the black reality of this valley of tears remains. When we know how to withdraw before sexual spasm, the Igneous Serpent of our Magical Powers awakens.”

  1. In my opinion Christanity has two major flaws… the denial of sensual pleassures and the addiction to self implied suffering… no offens, but I think you overemphasise the role of sexual intercourse as a overcompensation and at the same time hurt your self with the denial of an orgasm… a lot of masters achieved the highest very well without messing with there bodys…. but non the less sex can be utilized and the replacement of lust with love seems essential… but folks for real, be kind to ur self =)
